Dr. Makkar first preformed a cardiac ablation for me in February of 2019, then after a few months wait due to Covid restrictions, in March of 2019, implanted a Watchman device in my heart to prevent Stroke. Now, in 2023 at age 77.5, I have not experienced AFIB cardiac issues since my procedures. I take a Baby Aspirin and a 1 mg Doxazosin each night for blood pressure. I exercise two to three times a week on an eliptical machine for at least 50 minutes at fitness “level 4.” I have a garden in raised beds here in our winter desert climate for the past two years. I do all my house cleaning, and our desert has a lot of dust and requires constant cleaning. Last Fall, I renovated our large master bedroom closet by painting ceiling and walls with two coats of paint, and constructing new closet organizers (my husband has vision issues and was only able to help a little bit.). Last summer, at our other house, my husband and I bark mulched the planter beds. I did most of the hand scrubbing and power washing of our large covered deck, stairs, and stairway. Then I primed/painted posts & rails climbing up above the deck for the high posts, and stained the decking; it took two months due to weather. I power washed that house after I renovated the deck, and then I power washed the Flagstone Patio and resealed the surface. I do not know of anyone my age accomplishing these tasks among our friends and neighbors. This year I am going to finally get to play golf again! Doctor Makkar’s medical expertise has enabled me to live my life fully and with zest! I am so thankful that God led me quickly, after two hospital stays that did not result in control of my AFIB, to Dr. Makkar who is a most talented physician. I recommend to anyone experiencing AFIB to visit Dr. Makkar. Doctor Makkar fixed my AFIB!

Dr Makker is a rare find. Not only does he take the time to explain your diagnosis, he gives you options. He is a caring, very knowledgeable, physician and I am thankful I found him. His staff is also very supportive.
